Writing Place is a book with the theme of how literature and writing can enhance and influence the design process of architecture.
The cover and chapter openings visualise the melting together of literature and architecture and play with scale and dimension. I worked on this project together with Sanne Dijkstra, who was the lead designer. I joined her in client/publisher meetings and discussed the use of colour, paper, image positioning and typography. I was also tasked with creating an e-book version of this book, something I had never done before. I was able to do it after researching about the technical aspects and a lot of trial and error! A great new experience!
